First things first. The reason why I'm writing this post is because of a girl. If you're a blogger (it seems like such a big professional word so I'm gonna change it a bit) If you have a blog you'll never forget the first time when someone recognized you through your blog. I think I just had my first time. Or I thought I had it.
The story was like this. I was at zirca on a saturday night with my buddies. (as usual) As soon as I hit the dance floor, a girl was walking past me. She had that look. She kept smiling and came up to me and asked me "Are you ......?" It was in a club. The music was kinda loud. I kept thinking it's not thegiraffeisdead. So, I said "sorry no, I'm not." But I thought again and may be she was actually saying thegiraffeisdead. She walked away but she kept smiling and looking at me like she was 100% sure. Then my stupid brain started working and yeah, she was actually saying thegiraffeisdead. I never had the experience before. So, I panicked *facepalm*
Dear girl who recognized me, thank you. Seriously, thank you. You were very pretty and seemed very nice. Thanks for coming up to me. Thanks for giving me this first wonderful experience that every person with a blog wanna have. Thanks for everything :)))))
Second thing,
Did you notice that I change the header (or title pic or whatever u call it) ? I wanna share a few more photos from that, *I'm airquoting*, "photoshoot"? It was the most random thing ever. I wanted to do a photoshoot when my friend comes back. So, I went to botanic gardens and chinese gardens to check the location which probably will give me some ideas. Then my friend msged me, asking me if I wanna join her at bugis. I said yes and I went there. Guess where we did our make up. It's Sephora at Bugis +. We just used the random samples lying around to touch up our makeup with no intention of doing a photoshoot later. So my make up worthed more than 300$ at that point of time :D
Then we were walking around and feeling so bored. So we decided to walk from bugis to clarke quay, riverside. It was really cool since there's almost nobody. It was past 10 on a Tuesday. The air was nice and fresh. We shared what's buzzing and what not and had a great laugh together. At riverside, one of my friends wanted me to take photo of her in a tunnel. It was a great location and no one was around. So, I was like why not and started shooting. When I was trying to take a hairflick photo, a hot causcasian group was passing by. I was like "please wait until they walk past me" and begging my friend lol Due to some privacy issues, I won't be uploading my friend's photos and the ones that we took together. First I attempted the hairflick one.
epic failed. this looks kinda (ok I'll try VERY) weird. Then I tried a thousand more times and these are the results.... *proud of myself* I mean who can stand doing that for like a thousand times. I got a head rush after that tho :D
I like the second one the best. The last one is THE one though. Then, I took a few more which are not as appealing but still nice to be on this blog.
I really really liked my outfit that day. I LOVE my galaxy leggings. It may not look nice to a lot of people but I dig them. But there's a certain body type and size of the legs required to really pull off those leggings. My hair was fading so I decided to touch up after that shoot. Now I'm gonna show you what I use to touch up my hair colour. It may be a bit messy but please bare with me.
1. Carnation Pink. I used to use flamingo pink but I read reviews and heard this one is brighter which actually is a wrong information. I think I prefer flamingo pink. Now I'm waiting to receive pretty flamingo which is a nice shade of hot pink by Manic Panic which glows under UV light. *me screaming inside*
2. Lagoon blue. Its a nice shade of light bright blue.
3. Turquoise. It just seems like emerald green to me. It's NOT turquoise at all but green is my fav colour. So, I just went with it. One thing to note: It's impossible for this colour to fade completely. pastel green shade will always be there no matter how you wash your hair. I tried to dye blue over it but when the blue colour fades, the pastel green appears again. No, it's not a pretty pastel green. It's a dirty faded green mixed with yellow bleached hair which really annoys me.
4. Pastel pink. This colour won't show up unless your bleached hair is completely white or your base colour is silver. I just use this to mix with other colours and create a nice shade of purple.
The last two pics are what I use to maintain my hair. My hair is not damaged as you would think because everytime I touch up, I mix the dye with the hair mask and put my hair into a plastic cap and leave it overnight. So it smells fantastic (come smell me) and it's healthy :)
I'm gonna stop here. I have a lot more ideas for my blog. I just need a bit of time and a photographer :D until then.. and stay tuned pleaseeee
<3 Colette.
